The Dam Dirty Casting Call!
6/3/05

Do you have what it takes to be an Ape? This summer,
Dam Dirty Apes is looking for a fourth member,
and it could be you! All you have to
do is send us an email (with headshots) detailing
your experience in film (if any) as well as any other useful skills
(ie: music, choreography, wrestling). Also, it would help if you
detail why you'd like to become a member of DDA. Email
us your application at castingcall@damdirtyapes.com.
Keep in mind that by sending us any photos, you grant us permission
to post them on the website.

Revenge of the Sith Reviewed
5/19/05
Is it as bad as you hoped? George Lucas delivers another steaming
pile of multi-million dollar crap in his final abortion of the
Star Wars franchise. Aaron has a review of it here.
Batman Begins

Harris has an advance review of the Batman
Begins script. It's good.
A Space Surprize
4/6/05
A for-real new Dresen
Codak cartoon is up. For the sake of not crowding the news
page, updates for the cartoon strips will only be shown on their
respective main pages.
More, importantly, we're considering hosting all of our movies
on this site, like in the good old days. Of course, seeing as
now we have ten billion movies, we're likely to keep them down
to partial clips, but still, that's free movies on a site with
absolutely no ads. Plus, since our internet audience has been
growing exponentially as of late and the fact that nobody wants
to buy a DVD without knowing what they're in for, having previews
for everything seems like a wise choice. We'll leave it up to
you, the internet audience person. We don't make any direct money
off this site and additional bandwidth ain't cheap, so unless
there's a sizeable support for it we won't do it. Send your votes
to moviepoll@damdirtyapes.com
and just maybe we'll do about it.
Emails Abound
4/3/05
Small update: Kevin and Harris'
emails are now public in their respective bio pages. You'd be
suprized at how much fan mail those boys get these days.

Horrible Movies and Robot Cowboys
3/20/05
Just returned from the epic Jay
Sanders Film Festival up in Auburn. Surprisingly,
it was more awful than last year. Again we were assaulted with
some of the most mindless excuses for cinema in recent memory,
only this time the production values and scripting were utterly
nonexistant. How its organizers can sleep at night is beyond me,
as they have again deadened my love for the art with a bombardment
of wretched student collaborations. We had witnesses this time,
so it's been established that we're not the only ones who have
noticed.
For those just joining us there's a run-down of last time's headliners
here. In other news,
there's a new Dresden
Codak comic up, and you'll notice in the comics
section a sneak peak of Harris' strip "Sheriff Tobor".
He's a robot with hair extensions who's star quaterback and apparently
a sheriff.
3/10/05
The Dam Dirty Comics
page has finally been updated, with Aaron's strip Dresden
Codak Presents. Harris and Kevin both have their
own strips on the way, so more updates will come soon and with
greater frequency.

The Legend of
Monkey Fight makes its worldwide debut this
Saturday, Feb. 26 at 8pm in room 170 of the Humanities
building at South Alabama. Following right after, we're also having
a special encore screening of our 2004
Festival presentation. It's going to be a night to
remember, folks. Legend of Monkey Fight won't be coming
to DVD or DDATV for a long, long time, so Saturday is your last
chance to keep up with the cool kids. Be there.
